Report January 2024
Dear readers,
This report looks slightly different than the previous report of 2023.
Unfortunately,
no activities of our foundation could take place in 2024, the reason
for this is that an executive board member of various projects on site
in the Philippines had to undergo 3 serious operations this year, which
made it impossible for the 2 permanent board members to travel and the
promotion/donations were therefore minimal in 2024.
On
the positive side, the aforementioned board member has recovered well
from the operations mentioned, which means that hope is pinned on a
working visit to the Philippines in 2026. In 2025, preparations will be
made for the aforementioned trip in 2026.
However, this does depend on the continued health of the aforementioned board member.
As
described in our previous reports, the aim is to support the less
fortunate locally by means of food parcels, school supplies, medicine
costs and possibly individual aid. Upon arrival, each visit to the
Philippines is first inventoried to determine which goals are eligible
and what amount can be spent on them. Standard projects are, as
mentioned, food parcels, school supplies, and individual aid.
After that, contact is made with various managers of various schools to make arrangements for the implementation of a project.
Furthermore,
various requests are received from people for individual aid, and it is
considered separately to what extent aid can be provided here.
Our foundation is dependent on donations and, after reading this report, we hope for donors who want to support our foundation.
The
board hopes that 2026 will be another success in which the board of the
Librada foundation can implement a number of projects.
Hereby
thanks to those who donated to our foundation for their efforts/donations.
With kind regards,
The board of the Librada Foundation
